Who we are
Do Something Creative was founded to help artists, creatives, and organizations bring their visions to life. We believe creativity isn’t just what we do—it’s how we live. Our work combines experience, practical guidance, and a collaborative approach to help you move from idea to action with clarity and confidence.
Meet Heidi Jeub
Heidi is an artist, organizational leader, and creative strategist with decades of experience making, mentoring, and problem-solving across the arts, nonprofit sector, and community initiatives. As an artist, she navigated self-defined branding long before it was “trendy,” learning through experimentation, trial, and error. She also brings formal training in design thinking, which has informed her art practice, organizational consulting, downtown development projects, local political conversations, and creative initiatives with youth.
Heidi’s philosophy is simple: teach you to fish. Whether it’s grant writing, website management, or creative project planning, she provides tools and guidance so you can continue creating independently if you want to.
Our Values
Inclusivity & Equity: We support artists and organizations from all walks of life. Our business is anti-racist and inclusive, fostering a space where all voices are valued.
Collaboration: Creativity thrives in community. We work with you, not just for you.
Practical Creativity: Ideas are only as powerful as their execution. We help you make ideas actionable and sustainable.
Why We Do It
We’ve seen how empowering the right guidance, resources, and encouragement can be for artists and creatives. Our mission is to help you clarify your vision, strengthen your practice, and share your work with the world, no matter your background, location, or level of experience.
